The Comic

The Corner Table Kids is an ongoing webcomic set vaguely in the mid 2010's and follows the lonely freshman Taylor as she struggles to accept her strange new group of friends. Together, she and her friends survive the social isolation of high school together.

The Corner Table Kids updates in episodes every other Friday. Updates will go up on this site first, and then onto Webtoon and Tapas a week later.

As a general warning, The Corner Table Kids will contain heavier themes relevant to depression and social isolation. Specific content warnings will be labeled at the start of each chapter with available descriptions of what happened in the chapter.

The Author

Hey there! My name's Jackie Kuhn, I'm the creator The Corner Table Kids! I came up with the idea for this comic in the summer of 2022 and it's been stuck in my head since. 

I've always wanted to write a comic about teenagers struggling in high school, because truthfully most of the movies and shows about high school I saw growing up were really overdramatized. In my personal opinion, high school is hard enough without too-old actors peddling over-the-top plotlines and cringy one-liners (as fun as that can be to watch). I wanted to make a comic about the struggles my friends and I dealt with in high school, so that's The Corner Table Kids.
